Hi,,Yes it's been a long time here... seems like there is something always happening..lol

Got diagnosed back in NOv.08' with CTCL(Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma) I thought I had it rough already with the hip and knee replacements along with the Fibromyalgia,then BING!!! I get the news that I now have cancer....

Well, it's like this now I have to start those treatments, so let's get started,,I don't mind fighting it..But I tell ya it made me change alot of the mindset I had about bowling and life in general...I realized that I hadn't been living at all..I will still bowl as much as I can, and I will try to be an inspiration to others and use these diseases as stepping stone to enlighten others about those of us who are suffering with Fibro and living with CTCL... Hopefully all of us who live with these ailments can help bring knowledge of them to the forefront in society....

Well for now that is all... Fall leagues have begun again... I know everybody can't wait to get there and show their stuff what they got the summer...Good Luck and Great Bowling!!!!!!

Welcome One & All

       Hi welcome to my Blog. This is my first attempt at this so here goes: I wanted to have a place where everyone could hang loose, feel free, and chill. Oh Yea!!! and of course talk about the great sport of Bowling. Also, wanted a means of helping others who are experiencing some of the silly and selfish illnesses as I am - Fibromyalgia(a chronic pain syndrome involving the connective tissue in our body), Kienbock's Disease(a condition also known as avascular necrosis where a bone in the wrist dies due to lack of blood supply), Depression(well I think we all know how this can come about esp. with the other conditons lingering around,,lol) , and DeQuervain's Tendinitis(a painful inflammation of the thumb base & wrist tendons affecting movements of the thumb and wrist), and of course anything else we can find out about that may "try" to hamper our enjoyment of life and bowling. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have about these syndromes, illnesses, or bowling. I am willing to share any and all of my experiences with you. I am just thankful I am still bowling through all this, especially since my Uncle Arthur(Arthritis) caused me to undergo a total right hip replacement in June 06. I returned to bowling for the 2006-07 season ended with a 204 avg.

Since the PWBA has taken a nap I never see anyone, so until we get her awakened again let's stay in touch. I miss that,,, I really miss seeing all the great athletes we had out there, getting to know them, hanging and talking with them, and with all that talent, you always I mean "always" learned something.
So, until then come on in and let's get it started!!!

 UPDATE: 06/09/2008

This last season was strange bowling with new right hip and still needing a left knee...ended up having a left knee partial replacement April 3rd,08. So missed the last month of bowling season ended up with a 209 for the year..Ain't bad for an old crippled woman.

Looking forward to this fall,using the summer to rehab,No league bowling just got okayed to bowl May 17. So this fall (The BIONIC WOMAN ) returns hopefully to top form and grace....Will keep ya posted on my journey......
